Spark AR is an application provided by Facebook to create Augmented Reality effects and publish them on Facebook and Instagram.

The goal of this semester project was to create AR effects beoynd the usual filters one can find on Social Media and to experiment with this new tool. The effects should be purely typographical/graphical or use the camera input and manipulate it.

I was very interested in the ability to recognize facial movements as well as the possibility to detect and recontextualize colors from the camera feed.
